Chicago Basement Systems Before & After Photos

These homeowners were in the process of selling their home, but the cracks in the basement were a problem for the buyers. This home is now ready for its new owners!

This crawl space was full of debris and falling down insulation. The homeowner was looking to have it encapsulated to better protect the space. We removed all of the debris and old insulation and re-insulated the space with SilverGlo Insulation Panels. Drainage Matting was laid on the floor to create a thermal break in the space and help prevent surface water from building up under the vapor barrier. Then, the crawl space was encapsulated with CleanSpace! This ultra durable 20mil thick vapor barrier seals out moisture, pests, and drafty air. 

This crawl space is now completely transformed! It is bright, dry, and protected. The homeowner is thrilled with the results!

Every time is rained, water would intrude into this basement. The entry area was especially bad as water would pool up outside of the door and then leak in. This window well cover was cracked. We replaced the window well cover to help keep unwanted debris and moisture out. We then installed a drainage pipe in the window well. This way if moisture does get into the window well, it will drain to the sump pump and not flood the basement!
