Leaking Basement Crack Repaired in Lisle, IL

Water leaking into this basement was cause for concern for the homeowner. They gave us a call to see if we could help them solve their problem. Our System Design Specialist, Romy, went out to the home and inspected the basement. He then discussed with the owner about how we could help solve her problem. She liked what she heard, felt comfortable with the estimate, and asked us to move forward with the project.

Our crew got to the home and got to work. We had to remove part of the basement dry wall to get to the foundation. In the foundation cement, there was a large crack. We remedied this with FlexiSpan! This wall crack repair system fixes basement wall leaks in three steps. First, the crack is sealed. Next, a foam channel is installed. Finally, the system is adhered to the wall with an impermeable membrane. FlexiSpan collects any water seepage and drains it to the basement waterproofing system. Unlike a mortar solution, FlexiSpan won't crack open.

We are finishing our basement; we had US Waterproofing come out and learned that two of our walls are bowed in 3/4in to 1.25in. We received a quote for carbon fiber bracing but we did not have a great experience with our advisor and are seeking alternatives.
