Troubled Basement
This foundation wall was very cracked and unfortunately starting to bow. This corner of the basement was also having issues with moisture.
Push Piers Installed
We installed push piers for the failing foundation wall. Push Piers transfer the weight of the foundation to load bearing soil!
Foundation Secured
We also installed a PoweBrace Wall System to stabilize the bowing wall. This system is made up of steel I-beams that are custom fitted to the wall.
Anchored
Those steel I-beams are anchored to the floor joists! This system can be tightened over time to potentially straighten the walls back to where they were!
Basement Waterproofed
To waterproof the wet corner of the basement, we installed a CleanSpace Wall System and WaterGuard Drainage System. WaterGuard is installed beneath the floor in order to capture water leaking from the floor/wall joint. CleanSpace is a durable vapor barrier that captures any moisture seeping from the wall and sends it to the drainage system. This basement is now dry, protected from moisture, and structurally sound!
