Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Transformed in Batavia, IL

A homeowner in Batavia was having a lot of moisture and structural issues in her crawl space. There were puddles of water everywehre and the supports in the middle of the crawl space had settled, causing the floors in her home to sag. We were able to solve her crawl space problems! We installed SmartJacks to support the weak beams and lift the floors back up to where they needed to be. Then, a CleanSpace Encapsulation System was put in to protect the space from moisture! This crawl space is now structurally sound, dry, and has been completely transformed for the better!

Water in the Crawl Space

This crawl space had a lot of puddles of water throughout it. This contributed to the beams settling and the floors in the home sagging.

Structural Issues Resolved

We lifted the floors back up to where they needed to be with SmartJacks! These galvanized steel support posts are fully adjustable. SmartJacks provide a custom fit that is made to last. After the SmartJacks were installed we laid down Drainage Matting. This dimpled matting softens the ground, creates a thermal break in the space, and helps to prevent surface water from building up beneath the vapor barrier.

Encapsulated Crawl Space

A CleanSpace Encapsulation System completely transformed the look of this crawl space. CleanSpace is not only white and bright, but it is durable and tear-resistant too! This liner seals out pests, outside air, and moisture!

Smart Sump Liner

The homeowner was happy with their existing sump pump, but did upgrade their liner to a Smart Sump Liner! This liner contains an airtight lid and a WaterWatch Alarm for some extra peace of mind.
