Crawl Space Before Encapsulation
This crawl space was in need of an encapsulation.
Cleaned Out
First, our crew cleaned out all of the debris that was in the space.
Drainage Matting
We then installed Drainage Matting. Drainage Matting has many benefits: it creates a thermal break between the earth and the crawl space, it softens the crawl, and it's dimpled texture guides any surface water out of the crawl space.
Crawl Space Insulation
The walls were insulated with SilverGlo Insulation Panels. These graphite-infused panels also contain a built-in radiant barrier, making them much more effective than regular foam. We also added a layer of insulation on the floor.
Encapsulated
The crawl space was encapsulated with a CleanSpace Liner. CleanSpace creates a durable vapor barrier in the crawl space effectively sealing out moisture and pests.
